| This
is an indoor 10 ton pond built in the shed of a Perth hobbyist.
This pond is built out of wood and liner. The hobbyist has kept
koi for over 10 years. He first visited TEWA KOIS when a large number
of his koi had died from feeding low quality food from another koi
shop. From subsequent visits he was astonished at how fast koi were
growing at TEWA KOIS. The method was simple, firstly good water
for koi was created with a reverse osmosis filter. Second was to

and third was to use good food. This hobbyist used a 1000L pond,
and placed 13 small koi from 15cm to 20cm in the pond. By the end
of summer the koi were 36 to 40cm long. He continued to heat the
pond through winter, the koi continued to grow with the smallest
being 45cm and the largest 51cm. The hobbyist was so happy with
the results he built the 10 ton pond. The pond uses 2 resun 18000L/hr
pumps that deliver about 30000L an hour. A hi Bkow 80 is used to
